- David Lomas Added June 13, 2018★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆We were hit by an overwhelming smell of mold as soon as we walked into Chalet 3. The cloth lounge smelt very mouldy as did the stairs. The old carpet (with burns) is not a good idea. Honestly we could have put up the 1980's old folks decor & even that it was dusty & cobwebby (inside) but the mold smell was full on. We had to leave as we felt ill (& no firewood). Caretaker said "everyone has mold here". We went somewhere else (very lucky!!) & even though their decor was also a bit olde worldly cottage as well it was done well, it was clean & absolutely no mold. Plus they provided firewood. P.S. No refunds offered & still haven't heard from them.
- Mark A Added April 20, 2018★ ★ ★ ★ ★Cabin 5 - with a large 4-6 person spa, inviting bedroom with verandah, back deck, fireplace and separate bedroom with 2 single beds you can't go wrong. It is quite and secluded with only glimpses of the other cabins. A rainforrest to stare out at with a warm coffee or cocoa. The tv has a selection of movies accessible free of charge if the scenery isn't enticing enough.
Highly recommended for a romantic getaway or for two couples to share the experience. Magical! Thank you!
